stained slub t-shirt
When we received our first batch of slub t-shirts, half of the shipment got stained by a combination of water and cardboard, because our warehouse got flooded.
When coming up with ideas for the Frankenstein capsule, I decided that the stained t-shirts would be perfect for the concept especially with the visual of the prison tattoo gun printed on it.
Slub cotton is a textured, breathable cotton fabric made from yarns with intentionally inconsistent, bumpy thicknesses along their length. This provides a lightweight feel with a ‘worn-in’ look, perfect for these 35°C days.

Joash is 175cm and 70kg. His true size is L.
Ken is 175cm and 60kg. He wears a size M, true to size.
Shin is 165cm and 40kg. She wears a size S.

- The stains are part of the print. They will not wash out, so there is no need to try.
- Cold wash only, 30°C max, inside out.
- No hot water. Heat shrinks cotton and wears down the print.
- Wash with similar colours.
- No bleach.
- Do not tumble dry. Hang dry in the shade, since strong sun fades colour.
- Do not iron over the print. If you need to iron, turn it inside out and use low heat.
- Do not dry clean.
- Slub cotton has small bumps and thick spots in the yarn. That texture is normal.
- Cotton this light can shrink a little in hot water, which is one more reason to keep it cold.

- We'll exchange it for another size if we have it in stock. Email info@tokonoma.art within 7 days of delivery. The piece must be unworn and unwashed. You pay the postage back, we pay to send the new size.
- Damaged or wrong item
- Email us a photo within 7 days of delivery. We'll replace it or refund you.

- Can't be exchanged.
